Why aloe vera instead of water?

Water is the main ingredient of most creams, toners and serums. It is cheap and adds little to your skin itself. At ABLOOM we replace it with organic aloe vera juice from the leaf of Aloe barbadensis. That juice naturally contains water, but also polysaccharides, vitamins and minerals. So the base of the product already cares for your skin, before the other plant ingredients start their work.

Aloe vera first on the INCI list

An INCI list names the ingredients from most to least. In these products organic aloe vera juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) is number one:

Purifying Cleanser: with coconut, olive and jojoba oil for a gentle cleanse.
Hydrating Toner: with witch hazel, glycerin and panthenol.
Soothing Lotion: with witch hazel, panthenol, sandalwood and lavender.
Supreme Skin Elixir: with hyaluronic acid, ceramide and grape seed, almond and jojoba oil.
Day Cream: with shea butter, jojoba, sacha inchi and sea buckthorn.
Night Cream: with shea butter, borage oil, sandalwood and chamomile.
Eye Cream: with shea butter, jojoba and four kinds of seaweed.

The Luminous SPF 20 Cream (Nude and Sunkissed) also contains aloe vera juice, combined with zinc oxide as a mineral UV filter.

Products without aloe vera, and without water

The Miracle Oil and the Make-up Remover are pure oil blends. Our masks and the Enzyme Peeling are powders that you mix just before use. They contain no water at all, so there is nothing to replace.

Building your routine
